ProVerbs Privacy Policy

1. Overview

ProVerbs is an educational app for practising French verb conjugations. The current App Store release is designed so that your practice history, custom exercises, settings and statistics are stored on your device. ProVerbs does not require an account and does not ask you to create a password.

This website (akerez.com) is a static informational site. It does not use cookies, analytics SDKs or advertising trackers.

2. Information the app stores on your device

ProVerbs stores the following kinds of information locally on your iPhone using Apple frameworks such as SwiftData and UserDefaults:

• custom exercises you create and visibility preferences for exercises
• practice attempts, scores, mastery-related progress and study-time records
• app settings such as interface language, appearance and practice aids (for example Hint Mode, Learning Mode and translation display)
• optional learning-target preferences used by the statistics experience

This information stays on your device unless you choose to share it yourself (for example by emailing support). Uninstalling ProVerbs, or deleting the app’s data through iOS, removes the local store.

3. Information we do not collect through the app

Based on the current production configuration of ProVerbs:

• we do not operate an Akerez Software user account system or sign-in
• we do not include analytics, advertising measurement or crash-reporting SDKs in the App Store build
• we do not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone or photo library
• we do not use App Tracking Transparency prompts, because the release build does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites
• we do not enable iCloud / CloudKit sync for ProVerbs data
• we do not run a ProVerbs backend that receives your conjugations or statistics

Apple’s privacy manifest bundled with ProVerbs declares that the app does not track and does not list collected data types for third-party reporting. It declares use of the UserDefaults API for app functionality.

4. Information you send when contacting support

If you email support@akerez.com or use the in-app feedback composer, you choose what to send. That may include your email address, device information, the ProVerbs version, a description of a problem, and optional screenshots or question details.

We use that information only to respond to your request and improve ProVerbs. Please do not include passwords, payment card numbers or other sensitive credentials.

5. Purchases and Apple services

The current production configuration of ProVerbs does not offer in-app purchases or display advertising. Purchase and subscription interfaces are disabled in Release builds until monetisation is deliberately enabled.

ProVerbs includes Apple’s StoreKit framework so that an optional ad-free subscription can be offered in a future update. If and when a subscription is available:

• payment is processed by Apple, not by Akerez Software
• Apple provides purchase and entitlement status to the app so features can unlock correctly
• we do not receive your full payment card details

6. Advertising

The current App Store release does not load or display advertisements. Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) is not linked as a package dependency in the shipping project, and production ad units are not configured.

If a future version introduces advertising, we will update this Privacy Policy before or when that change ships, including the name of any advertising partner and related choices such as tracking permission where required.

7. Network activity and third parties

Learning content used by ProVerbs (verb forms, meanings and sentence translations) is packaged with the app for offline use. An optional remote learning-pack download URL can be configured in a future build; it is not configured in the current Info.plist, so the app does not download curriculum packs from a remote host today.

System features you choose to use may involve Apple services outside Akerez Software’s control, for example:

• Mail or another email app when you send feedback
• App Store / StoreKit when purchases are offered
• iOS itself (backup, Focus modes, keyboard, and similar device features)

Those services are governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy.

8. This website

The Akerez Software website is static HTML. It does not set cookies, does not embed third-party analytics or advertising scripts, and does not include a contact form that posts data to an Akerez server. Your web host or browser may still produce ordinary technical logs (such as IP address and requested URL) according to that host’s practices; Akerez Software does not operate a separate visitor-analytics product on this site.

9. Retention

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Support emails are retained only as long as needed to handle your request and maintain a minimal record of correspondence, then deleted or archived according to ordinary business practice.

10. Children

ProVerbs is an educational tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children online. Practice data created in the app remains on the device. If you believe a child has sent personal information to support@akerez.com, contact us and we will delete it from our email records when appropriate.

11. Security

We rely on iOS sandboxing and standard Apple storage APIs for on-device data. No method of electronic storage is perfectly secure. Protect your device with a passcode or biometric lock and keep iOS updated.

12. International availability

ProVerbs may be downloaded from the App Store in multiple countries. Because practice data is stored on your device, it is processed where your device is located. If you email support, your message is received by Akerez Software and may be handled in the country where support email is accessed.

13. Your choices

• Delete ProVerbs or its on-device data to remove local practice history
• Change language and appearance in the app settings
• Choose whether to enable practice aids such as translations where the app provides that control
• Manage any future Apple subscription through Apple’s subscription settings
• Contact us at support@akerez.com with privacy questions

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when ProVerbs or this website changes in a way that affects privacy. The effective date at the top of the page will be revised when we publish changes. Continued use of ProVerbs after an update means you should review the revised policy.
